A woman whose allegiance is to the Lord; whose sole desire is to glorify Him alone; and whose life is in the wondrous hands of our heavenly Abba Father — Pastor Lily has a silent and resilient spirit. Although there were major disappointments, trials and transitions in her life in the past years, one thing never change — her faithfulness to God and to all that the Lord has entrusted into her hands, no matter how small the subject is.
I truly admire her for being that faithful shepherd to the girls whom God has put in her hands: she never gives up on any of us. Her perpetual prayer and desire is that each of her girls be at the centre of God’s calling, regardless of where they will settle down eventually. Desiring to keep everyone in the family, she takes special effort to connect with all her girls and be involved in their lives, no matter how short time permits.
Ps Lily manifests her love for her family and those around her from the overflowing words of care and guidance. Her godly and wise counsel always bring us into a personal growth journey as she provokes our minds with new paradigms and often bringing us back to the foundational truths in the Bible. With deep convictions and grounded values from the very word of God, she never fears to stand up for what is right, to say “No” to wrongs and even to discipline her girls. All these spur us to love God even more and to be always aligning ourselves with the purposes of God in our lives.
Her dedication and commitment to her work at TYS is evident — the late nights she spent and countless camps she ran spur from the very motivation of wanting to see young lives touched and having the right values imparted to them. A passionate woman for the lost, especially so for the youths!
May God continue to grant her the desires of her heart & anoint her richly for the Glory of the Kingdom of God!
